Coochie HydroGreen is built around a structured 6-in-1 Lawn Care Program, not one-off lawn mowing.
Franchise partners provide recurring treatments designed to improve and protect the health of customers’ lawns, including:
That repeat-service model gives franchisees the opportunity to build an ongoing customer base rather than continually relying on one-off jobs.
Starting a business from scratch means developing the brand, service, systems and customer acquisition strategy yourself.
With Coochie HydroGreen, that groundwork has already been established.
Since 1996, Coochie has grown to service more than 40,000 households nationwide, with approximately 90 franchise partners operating across 170+ territories.
The model gives you the opportunity to start as an owner-operator and, if that is your goal, grow beyond yourself by adding employees, service capacity or additional territories over time.
Some existing partners have gone on to acquire second and third territories.
Operate within an exclusive greenfield territory and build your own repeat customer base over time.
Coochie provides guaranteed initial leads to help you establish your presence.
You are also supported by national marketing, including advertising, the online directory and 1800 call centre, alongside local-area marketing activity within your territory.
A fully equipped vehicle is provided free for your first 12 months, reducing the amount you need to organise when launching the business.
Your induction covers the 6-in-1 treatment program, business development and administration.
Training continues after launch, with ongoing mentorship and a dedicated operations support officer available for day-to-day support.
There is no fixed retail shopfront or commercial rent required to operate the business.
Begin hands-on, establish your customer base and develop your territory, with the opportunity to add technicians, employees or further territories as the business grows.
Coochie provides the service training and systems.
What matters more is whether you’re prepared to actively operate and develop your territory.
This opportunity could suit you if you:
This is not designed as a passive investment from day one.
Franchisees are expected to service customers, promote their business locally and actively build their territory.
$60,000 FIRST-YEAR NET INCOME GUARANTEE*
Coochie guarantees franchise partners $60,000 in net income during their first year.
If your first-year net income falls below $60,000, Coochie tops up the difference, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
BUSINESS BUYBACK GUARANTEE*
If you eventually choose to exit, Coochie also provides a business buyback guarantee based on a $1-for-$1 revenue value.
For example, under the guarantee, a business generating $350k in revenue would have a $350k buyback value.
Coochie’s current sales material notes that most franchisees selling their business choose the open market instead because they have been able to achieve a higher sale value. Terms and conditions apply.

You don’t need to arrive with years of lawn care experience.
Coochie’s structured 4-week induction program covers:
Once you’re operating, you’re supported with ongoing mentorship and a dedicated operations support officer.
People from trades, landscaping, construction, field services, sales, account management, customer service, corporate roles and existing small businesses may all bring relevant skills to the opportunity.
For many prospective business owners, one of the hardest parts of starting independently is having to continually find the next customer.
Coochie’s model is built around an ongoing lawn treatment program and repeat-service potential.
As customers see the results of the treatments over time, franchisees can develop longer-term customer relationships, referrals and a growing local presence within their territory.
If you’re looking to build a business of your own, enjoy working with customers and are prepared to actively develop a local territory, we’d like to hear from you.
